REFUSES HUNGARIAN, INVITA-
TION
Vienna, (TA).—Arthur Schnitzler,
famous Austrian-Jewish novelist, re¬
fused to visit Hungary because of the
anti-Jewish attitude prevalent in that
country. Mr. Schnitzler was invited
to deliver a series of lectures in Bud¬
apest.
Rejecting the invitation
Schnitzler declared that he is will¬
ing, on principle, to hold lectures in
Budapest.
